Verdict

This looks a fair maiden by all-weather standards and Cousin Khee, who has won three bumpers and a hurdle, has to go on the short-list as he was only beaten a head on his Flat debut over 1m2f here 12 days ago. Luggers Hall won over hurdles at Kempton last year and has been placed three times on Turf on the Flat while Fulgora is yet another winner over jumps and was third in a jumpers' bumper on the Polytrack at Kempton last month. Story Writer has only found one too good here and Wolverhampton in two runs to date but we'll give another chance to HARLESTONE WOOD, who was runner-up in maidens at Newbury and Salisbury for John Dunlop last year and hasn't been disgraced in either start for his new trainer. The disappointing Minority Interest looks best of the rest.
