In depth

Verdict

African Sahara, Fasyilitator and Burgundy are three against the field in a wide open affair and the narrow vote is given to African Sahara. The selection has won his last two races in good style and although he is rising in the weights he has won of the style of an improver and he is taken to continue on the upward curve under conditions that suit. Fasyilitator rates the main danger on his latest win over Cusoon, granted he has a penalty for that win but he remains at the right end of the weights and he could easily improve so he should be noted in the market Burgundy is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Blue Bajan but the suspicion is he is high enough in the weights. Mexican Pete will make a bold bid to make all the running but he will not get an easy lead and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Croon is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but he is not proven on this surface and in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to African Sahara.
