None of these set the pulse racing but VEXILLUM may do better with some cut in the ground after a poor effort at Brighton last time. A repeat of his earlier second at Yarmouth should see him in the mix. Michael Bell won this last term so Desert Red is worthy of consideration having finished a bit closer at Wolverhampton on his handicap bow while Arte Del Calcio produced a better effort at Warwick recently, though that was over 7f. Arabic and Song Of Joy wouldn't need much improvement to make the frame.
