Miss You Too held her own in decent company last season but is pretty much exposed. Northern Star was well beaten in a Listed race at Deauville last August and may also be worth opposing but Secret Gesture looked a nice prospect when winning a Newbury maiden on heavy ground in October and Alta Lilea has already won this season over the trip, landing a four-runner race at Catterick with the minimum of fuss. HEROINE REQUIRED has entries in the Oaks and the Ribblesdale Stakes and will appreciate the step up in distance after just losing out over 1m2f at Ripon on her reappearance. She gets the nod, though Enaitch and Whippy Cream also have scope for improvement.
