Verdict

SEEK THE FAIR LAND coped admirably with the drop back to today's distance when scoring over track and trip three weeks ago. He had Five Star Junior, Norville and Piscean behind last time and the latter has since boosted the form with a win at Wolverhampton. Jim Boyle's charge can go in again here as he can also boast an earlier verdict over Santefisio, though December's 7f winner Novellen Lad looks a real threat. Palace Moon put an end to a long losing run when scoring at Kempton last month and is another to consider.
