Verdict

Avertis took advantage off his slide down the weights to score over C&D last time and remains on a decent mark compared to his best form but Crowning Star has floundered off his current rating since landing a double early last year. Brown Pete's winning run came to end at Wolverhampton last week though he still has the beating of Shared Moment but STORM RUNNER remains in fine fettle. He followed-up an earlier C&D win with the minimum of fuss back at this track on his latest start and a hat-trick looks on the cards.
