Petara Bay hasn't won since 2011, missed the whole of last year and was pulled-up on his reappearance at Ascot last month. It remains to be seen if he can run anywhere near his current mark of 95. WELL PAINTED won a plating race at Windsor last year and should be sharper for a recent run at Newcastle. He has a bit to spare on today's terms with Investissement and gets the nod. The latter won a selling contest for amateurs over 1m4f here last time and has his first start for a new yard in this. The rest have plenty to find at the weights including Prince Of Burma and Matraash.
