    Verdict

Chris Wall's Luminous Gold has maintained his form well since winning at Yarmouth three outings ago with decent efforts in his last two starts and he should again be thereabouts but preference is for HILLSIDE LAD, who gets the verdict ahead of Kyle. The last mentioned looks the pick of Conor Dore's three runners ahead of Kipchak and Punching, following his win at Yarmouth and fair effort in defeat at Windsor on Monday. A market move for Super Frank would be of interest but John Akehurst's gelding, a winner at Folkestone off mark of 60 in April, is better on the Polytrack than he is on turf. Finnegan McCool has run better in his last two starts and Ralph Beckett's gelding has to be considered but preference is for stable companion Hillside Lad. The son of Tobougg was good value for his win at Salisbury last month and should be suited by the return to six furlongs having not been at his best over the minimum last time.
