        Verdict

        STAR JEANIE finished well ahead of Pharaoh when second at Goodwood on her debut. Henry Candy's filly is just preferred to Kidmenever, third in Class 3 company on his introduction at Salisbury. David's Beauty has finished runner-up the last twice now but was beaten six lengths on both occasions and Magic Strike was a long way behind the winner when fourth on his debut. The newcomer Let There Be Light is related to a couple of winning two-year-olds and is worth a second glance.
