AL FAREEJ never looked like taking a hand in the finish of the Queen Mary at Ascot but there was nothing wrong with her first two runs at Windsor and Ripon when just touched off. This looks a good opportunity for James Tate's filly, though Candlelight did well to get within a length-and-a-quarter of Magic Florence on the Polytrack here last month having blown the start. Renaissant finished ahead of Candlelight on debut but found little when push came to shove at Sandown last time.
