This looks a very decent race, one of the best two on the card, with four of the six having course and distance winning form to their name, including our selection NICKEL SILVER who we think can get the better of main dangers Indian Skipper and Ebraam. Three wins and as many places from his last six outings show he's bang in form, albeit at a lower level. It's a big step up in class, but one we feel he can bridge, from an ideal draw. He's the only interest on the card for Brian Smart and Tom Eaves, and they could be going home with a hefty winners' cheque. Indian Skipper's three career wins have all come over shorter trips, and he's not always the quickest away, and given a likely decent clip to this contest, he's going to need a better exit than on some occasions. Ebraam won this race two years ago when under the tutelage of Derek Shaw. He's onto a third trainer since then, and his subsequent two victories have both come over further at Wolverhampton and at a lower grade. Each of the runners is likely to have some support and it could be a real dash, with our support going with Nickel Silver to get home first.
