Glencal can land this prize at the main expense of Shaded Edge and Excessive. The selection is an unexposed filly and the way she won last time at Chepstow marked her down as one to stay on the right side of. The fly in the ointment for her could be Shaded Edge who was second behind Lord Of The Reins last time. He runs in the 2.40 race here today so that race will tell us a lot about the strength of the form. Excessive was sixth behind Pragmatist last time and a similar comment would apply because she is also running today in the 2.40 race. Flying Encore may need to drop a few pounds before she gets her head in front. All of which returns us to Glencal who is taken to go in again.
