Verdict

Kyllachy Star finished ahead of Ostralegus at Southwell last time but both had earlier won over track and trip. The latter was raised 11lb for winning a maiden but the former beat Shifting Star and TOP OFFER here last month. That gives Peter Crate's charge something to find but he's much better off on today's terms and finished closer at Kempton on his latest start. He finally looks set to take advantage of a slide down the weights. Go Far made the frame here last month but the suspicion remains that he's better on the slower Fibresand surface at Southwell.
