Verdict

Secular Society ran well for third when unfancied on last year's debut. The betting may give the best clue to his chances as he makes a belated return to action. Revise hasn't raced since July and drops back in distance as does Lady Guinevere. The latter made the frame in heavy ground over 1m2f last time and Tumbledown finished well ahead of Spessartine when fourth over the same trip here a fortnight ago. But given the doubts surrounding all of the above, GRASPED, a half-sister to six winners, may well be good enough on her racecourse debut and Lady Cecil's filly gets the nod.
