In depth

Verdict

Fly In Johnny could be the answer to this claimer; One More Round and Marko Jadeo are also considered. The selection hails from the Richard Hannon yard and he has gone close on each of his last two starts. This looks to be a good opportunity for him to score here with ground conditions to suit. One More Round is one of several course and distance winners in the field and he will be suited by the drop in trip here after running a fair race over 7f at this track last time. He can get competitive, although he finished behind our selection last time and it is hard to see him turning the tables today. Southwest Star is eased in grade but he ran a shocker last time and he has plenty to prove at present, while Paul Cole has his string in good form so it would be no surprise to see James Dean run a big race. With all this in mind though we are happy to stick with Fly In Johnny as the choice.
