In depth

Verdict

With so many unraced fillies in the line-up, it is hard to be dogmatic in naming the selection but, that said, Pixie's Blue is selected ahead of Waveline and Carolina Belle. Once the penny dropped, the Brian Meehan-trained Andrasta showed debut promise at Warwick, while, from the newcomers, the most interesting ones appear to be the 160,000 dollars purchase Carolina Belle, the 22,000 euros daughter of Xaar, Deal Flipper, Jane Chapple-Hyam's 28,000 guineas purchase Feeling Proud, John Gosden's 30,000 guineas daughter of Hawk Wing, Pixie's Blue, and Brian Meehan's other runner, Waveline, who cost 140,000 euros. The market might prove informative here but, without that we will side with Pixie's Blue.
