In depth

Verdict

Recent winners Malaysian Boleh and Jimmy Elder will both need to improve again to follow up off higher marks. Hard Walnut has superior form to both Princess Cammie and Majestic Jess and Purcell won't have to improve much on last year's form to get involved on his reappearance. Nellie Bly was only beaten a length on last month's handicap debut and beat STAR OF ROHM by a head over track and trip before that. She has leading claims but Michael Bell's charge re-opposes on better terms and looks to have every chance of taking his revenge in this.
