Verdict

After his aberration just two days ago we'll oppose Winterbrook King and instead side with CLERK'S CHOICE. Colangnik is also in with a shout. Winterbrook King's last outing at Kempton at the weekend was well off form when he was never into stride and contested weakly for the minor places. It may well prove that the run was too bad to be true after some promising efforts before but he's best avoided. Clerk's Choice shaped really well on his handicap debut last time on turf but his career best displays have come on the polytrack albeit over 6 furlongs. Open to more improvement and looks well placed in this company. Colangnik has the surface form in this race after a couple of solid-looking third places - the latest over course and distance. But with the form not really standing up from those the vote has to go the way of Clerk's Choice.
