Verdict

Reedcutter made a promising start when fourth at Newmarket in October and a couple of winners have come out of the race. He'll likely be winning this season but HOY HOY may have the march on him in this. The latter ran well at Newbury last month when finishing four lengths ahead of Inspector Norse and Mick Channon's colt can open his account with progress expected. Halation is another expected to have improved from his debut at Yarmouth while Topaling is preferred to Cincinnati Girl of the newcomers.
