Verdict

Ballinahow Lady had Big Game Hunter just behind when both made their debuts over fences at Cork in October. The pair have run well subsequently and the former can come out on top again as she had only just been headed when falling at the last over 3m at Thurles last month. MEDICAL CARD made a very promising start over the bigger obstacles when runner-up to Four Commanders at Down Royal and though beaten subsequently in the race won by Raptor at Punchestown that was a much stronger race than this and Noel Meade's charge can gain his first success over fences. Winning point-to-pointer American Touch can do best of the remainder.
