Verdict

Ted Walsh won this in 2009 but it's a surprise to see him throw the four-year-old PLOOPLUCK BRIDGE into the fray though he'll be getting plenty of allowances from moderate types and the entry can be justified. Sox's Girl has had a total of 23 starts without getting her head in front and has a long absence to overcome but Serein has indicated at ability and looks the type to be suited by the bigger obstacles. Winning point-to-pointers Ballyhampshire Man and Ring Ben can be given chances but this looks a race where the market could prove the best guide.
