Verdict

DEVILS BRIDE is taking a step-up in class after his very impressive debut success over fences at Roscommon but should be up to the task and better things await in the future. Authinger has disappointed since scoring at Down Royal in May and had a recent spin on the Flat to get his confidence back. Cnoc Na Sioga, three times a winner over hurdles, has had just two starts over the bigger obstacles and fell in the latter of them. He has a long absence to overcome while Innocentman has been well beaten since arriving from the point-to-point field. Our Ned was the very easy winner of a point at Ballysteen in April of last year and didn't reappear until earlier this month where she was impressive in beating Silver Chief over a trip probably too short. She can improve again and looks the main threat with her allowance and jockey's claim reducing her weight.
