Verdict

UP SLUGGARH missed a good opportunity through abandonment during the week and can gain compensation here. He was having only his fourth start over fences when running away with a handicap at Wexford and, though up 10lb, Ben Dalton's claim can see him to another victory. Georgie doesn't win very often but drying ground would be in his favour and a long absence shouldn't be a problem. The hunter chaser Finea has found his form and followed a victory at Downpatrick with an excellent run at Tipperary where he was in touch and holding every chance when falling at the second last. If none the worse he can get into the frame while Magical Mother only faded in the closing stages at Clonmel after her victory at Downpatrick.
