In depth

Verdict

The last three winners of this have carried big weights so ONE OF THREE can take this from the same mark as he had when runner-up to Full Title at Fairyhouse. An earlier all-the-way success at Cork showed just how well he is running and he is looking reasonably treated. Coughlans Locke is another with a huge weight and though he ran well at Dundalk last time his only success was gained from 8lbs lower. Diamond Fire, a winner at Wolverhampton in November, was having his first start for six months when a very good fourth at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago and looks a big threat. Trotting Weasel ran well at Navan last time but has been regularly beaten from this mark, a remark that also applies to Pimlico Sound, who was just behind him at Navan.
