Verdict

UP SLUGGARH appeared to resent front-running tactics at Clonmel last month after a better run at Galway in October previously. With that under his belt and more restraint, he can get off the mark. Winning point-to-pointer Big Vincey made a nice start under Rules in a Down Royal bumper and was always likely to do better when sent over obstacles. He should get involved as should Foot Soldier, who ran a bit better at Cork last time. Volt Sun has been highly tried since arriving from France and is expected to do better in time.
