Verdict

Shifting had some decent form last year and has faced stiff tasks in his two runs this campaign so could go well at a fair price. Topadee won here and at Laytown last year but is now on a high enough mark while Amazing Star will have found heavy going against him over the track and trip last time. However, he was a long way behind STAR LINKS on that occasion and the winner has since run well over a shorter trip at Naas so looks the one to be on. Golden Shoe has been very consistent at Dundalk but is 8lb higher than for his latest success.
