In depth

Verdict

This looks a much more interesting handicap than the first division with several arriving in good form. Vicalus was having only her third start in a handicap when an excellent second to the in-form Fairymount Lord over 2m4f at Wexford and further progress is likely. SEE DOUBLE YOU won a point-to-point by a distance in February and returned to hurdling with a very impressive success at Tramore. He's been raised 12lb but his rider's claim will help and he's still well enough treated to take this. Handsome Dan found 2m3f too short at Cork and this is more his trip but Mackey Boy made all to land a 2m3f maiden here in March and he's unproven over this far. Millenarys Lady and Dont Tell De Purty were engaged with chances at Kilbeggan last night.
