Captain Cole, three time a winner on the level, hasn't had too much experience over hurdles but ran very well when runner-up to Scholars Mate at Down Royal in November and has scored on polytrack subsequently. Tony Martin is exploiting the hurdles handicap mark of KEELAGHAN, who won a handicap chase at Gowran in October from 116 but can compete over the smaller obstacles from 107 despite three victories. Mutadarek has only one success over hurdles to his credit but half-a-dozen on the level. He may have doubled his tally over obstacles but for falling at the last at Bellewstown in August and should get competitive here. Keats Dream shout up the weights after scoring at Thurles in March and found a much tougher handicap at Punchestown beyond him last month.
