Verdict
Edward Hales has won this three times in recent years so Broadly Speaking is one to keep an eye on in the betting. Dawerann had Exterminate and Star Du Pilori a long way behind when a close fourth to Grecian Tiger at Naas and should take care of that pair again but the winner is trained by Dermot Weld, who has won this twice in the last three years, and is represented by WILLOW ISLAND here. A half-brother to four winners, he has a mainly Flat pedigree and should have the necessary pace to take this on his debut. Patrick Mullins takes the ride on Tarogato, who is out of a 6f winner, while Liz Doyle's Le Vent D'Antan is one to note as he's a full-brother to a winning chaser in France.
