ASTRAKHAM made a pleasing comeback from a five month absence when fourth at Navan last week. That run should have blown any cobwebs away and the lightly-raced three-year-old could be ahead of the handicapper. Balladiene found only his stablemate too good when runner-up in this race last year. He ran well last time and, if the rains arrive, looks capable of making the frame once again. In contrast, Strandhill appears to need fast ground to show his best and is back on a winning mark, while Moby Dick and Little Bug are others suited to a quick surface and look worthy of consideration.
