In depth

Verdict

Rightway started favourite for his debut in a Curragh maiden and didn't run badly in third. The runner-up has won since so with progress to come he should get into the mix. John Oxx also runs Tithonus, who hasn't been seen since August when mid-division in a Gowran maiden. Flight Risk was thought good enough to make his debut in a Listed contest at the Curragh in September and didn't perform at all badly. It's a slight concern that he hasn't run subsequently but Jim Bolger should have him straight enough. FIRST SITTING is a full-brother to the Group 1 winner Emulous and a Listed winner and related to several other winners. He's making his belated racecourse debut but it would be no surprise to see him make a successful start. Some Spirit looks best of the remainder.
