Kevin Prendergast won a version of this a year ago with Dunboyne Spirit, who was making his debut, and his very speedily-bred filly Bahama Spirit should be capable of a big effort. Another filly, Rubina, who is also by Invincible Spirit is much more stoutly bred on her dam's side and may need slightly further. FOOT SOLDIER was the better fancied of Aidan O'Brien's three entries in a Curragh maiden last month but eventually finished behind his stablemates Reply and Tenth Star. He's likely to have improved greatly for the experience and gets the vote to see off the newcomers.
