    Verdict

    FURNER'S GREEN definitely looked in need of the run when beaten by Light Heavy at Leopardstown and with that under his belt should be good enough to go one better. His stablemate Vault finished a long way behind but he'll also do better while the winner's trainer is represented by newcomer Tiger At Heart, a son of Teofilio and a half-brither to a winner in the USA. Akeed Wafi looked one to follow this season when comfortably accounting for Rigiletta at Gowran in September though the runner-up has been beaten three times subsequently.
