Verdict

An ordinary maiden but Aidan O'Brien complicates matters with three entries. Smuggler's Cove is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals but it's Ol' Man River who really catches the eye on breeding. He cost an incredible €2.85million as a yearling and is by Montjeu out of the dual classic winner Finsceal Beo. He's obviously one to note though the more experienced ORDER OF ST GEORGE may just have his measure this time around. He was a bit unfortunate with the draw when runner-up to Parish Boy at Naas earlier this month and is taken to go one better. Jim Bolger is doubly represented and Kevin Manning has chosen the Teofilo colt Ring Presence over Novis Adventus, who will be better over further in time.
