Verdict

Leitir Mor has a penalty to contend with for his Group 3 victory here a year ago and that was only his second success in 25 starts. He's invariably run in better class than this though he ran poorly here last time. Captain Joy is returning from a spell in Dubai where he was beaten in three tough handicaps while Along Came Casey has an even longer absence to contend with having not run since finishing last when odds-on at the Curragh in September. Her earlier form puts her in the frame though she was behind PEARL OF AFRICA in that latter event and Eddie Lynam's filly, who had a very good spell at Meydan over the winter, is taken to continue the progress she showed last season when she completed a hat-trick. One Spirit finished in front of her in a Group 3 here last month but she failed to get a clear run and can reverse the positions. He's No Saint is another returning from Dubai where he landed a 7f handicap on Turf before beaten in a Listed contest on Tapeta.
