Verdict

Zeftan had been beaten out of sight in two runs over hurdles in February but was well supported at Dundalk last month and almost snatched victory. He just appeared to find a mile too short on Polytrack but today's conditions should be a help. King Of Oriel, who won a handicap at Gowran over 1m1f in September, has also scored over timber subsequently so could provide a threat along with Little Arrows, who bounced back to winning ways at Dundalk and is just as at home on Turf. THE BLACK DEVIL is a decent enough performer at this level and ran very well the last twice he raced on Turf here and at the Curragh. Colin Keane's claim is a major bonus and his mount looks set to add this to his tally.
