Verdict

Captain Dimitrios met trouble in running when going down by a length and a quarter to Eternal Youth over a similar trip at Lingfield earlier this month. They meet on the same terms here and there shouldn't be much to choose between the pair today, though David Evans' charge always seems to find at least one too good. ELUSIVE LOVE is preferred, therefore, as this is his first appearance in this lowly grade and Mark Johnston's colt has already been placed in maidens at Lingfield and Southwell. Cootehill Lass looks best of the rest on her return to action.
