In depth

Verdict

Attwaal stepped up to this trip for the first time at Wetherby and didn't run quite up to expectations so a 4lb rise in the weights looks harsh. Allthegear No Idea looked to be going the right way and started favourite at Lingfield last month after winning there a few weeks earlier but couldn't cope with Got The Nac. He'd run well over this trip earlier so should be in the mix. Winning point-to-pointer ST JOHNS POINT had been brought along steadily and was well supported at Towcester last month where he made no mistake. He looks capable of better and can take this, though Theregoesthetruth could cause a problem as she followed an easy victory over this trip at Leicester with a good run on a return visit in a better class event.
