In depth

Verdict

Power Pack Jack has become disappointing but is nicely handicapped if he can rediscover his old form. Noble Witness won over track and trip around this time last year and also scored at Catterick in December while Nom de Guerre was beaten less than a length here in November off today's mark, though hasn't been seen since. FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT carries a penalty for last week's success at Southwell but looks to be heading in the right direction now and can follow up as Not So Sure Dick may need another run to get up to speed and Thorncliffer has gone backwards since winning at Wetherby in December.
