Verdict

There are big question marks hanging over most of these but Be My Deputy has been in decent form of late, winning at Doncaster before just finding 3m too far at Musselburgh. Amirico could win a race like this if sorting out his jumping while Gers Benefit was clear of the third when runner-up to Gorgehous Lliege at Towcester in December and Seventh Hussar was a close second over course and distance before finishing third at Lingfield. Unwanted Gift's recent second came in a selling hurdle at Fakenham, however, so we prefer KNOCKDOLIAN. He's only had one run over fences so far and ran well in a Wolverhampton bumper last time, shaping as though this longer trip would suit.
