Verdict

Recent winner FLYING APPLAUSE is selected here ahead of Celtic Gold and King Of The Moors. The selection has a 4lb rise in the weights for a recent Nottingham win where he saw off Bobski by a head. He wore blinkers for the first time then and if they have the same impact today now combined with the tongue-tie, then he should run another good race. Addwaitya represents Chris Wall who has started the season fairly well. He doesn't send too many to the track but this gelding looks the type to do well this season, especially now back over this trip. Durbburg needs to be watched for market support, whilst Celtic Gold may appreciate the drop in trip today as he hasn't quite been seeing out his races as may have been hoped. King Of The Moors ran well in defeat just ten days ago, and along with Princelywallywogan he deserves his place on the shortlist. Course winner Penang Cinta needs consideration, but it is Flying Applause who can win again.
