Verdict

Richard Hannon has only one runner at the meeting and it will be interesting to see how the market rates Tawtheeq on his handicap debut. Skytrain doesn't hide his light under a bushel and though Mark Johnston's gelding wins in his turn, we will attempt to oppose with BROCTUNE PAPA GIO. Keith Reveley's runners on the Flat are invariably underestimated and the six-year-old comes into this race having run much better than his odds would have indicated on both of his recent starts. Illustrious Prince appears to relish his racing, and he gained due reward at Newmarket having found one too good at Doncaster. It's been a long time between drinks for My Single Malt and Julie Camacho's gelding is sure to be staying on late in a quest to overcome a long losing run.
