Verdict

Red Yarn is only a pound higher than when just beaten over 7f at Folkestone three weeks ago but Basle disappointed when well backed on her reappearance at Lingfield and her C&D win last year came in a claimer. PSYCHIC'S DREAM is still a maiden but Marco Botti's three-year-old went close over this trip at Kempton in April and would have finished a lot closer at Lingfield on her handicap debut had she got a clear run. She is taken to land this at the main expense of Bathwick Xaara, who will enjoy the ground better than most and won over C&D in October. Celtic Sixpence should be better for her Nottingham run but Boragh Jamal is best watched after a break.
