Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

BROWNS BROOK is burdened with a big weight carrying a penalty for last week's victory at Huntingdon. But he was unextended to score by a distance on that occasion and the hat-trick beckons. The Last Bridge is also penalised for his recent victory in heavy ground at Southwell and should be thereabouts again while Lord Fox went close at Ayr last month in between a couple of poor efforts but is 7lb higher today. Top Benefit wasn't beaten far at Towcester on his latest start and makes more appeal than Highland River, a well beaten runner-up at the same track recently.
