Verdict

Trip The Light has gone up 4lb since finishing second at Stratford in October but has decent prospects here. Filbert is lightly raced and can only improve on his fourth at Sandown while Grey Soldier hinted at a revival when second at Wetherby and Switched Off still had a chance when unseating his rider at Musselburgh. El Dancer won at Fakenham two runs ago and is back in the right grade after a tilt at Listed company at Cheltenham, while Sunny Ledgend could figure if fully wound-up. But THE MUMPER gets 14lb from Andrew Martin's charge and is very much on an upward curve judged on his victory at Market Rasen. He can take this with Westlin' Winds likely to struggle upped in class.
