Wise Venture and Otto The Great found life tough in Group 2 races on their latest starts and should do better here, but Mabaany and Cravat come out best at the weights and both scored over 7f at Chester on their latest starts. The latter landed a nursery and Amazing Storm was also a handicap winner at Newmarket in August. He went close again last time, but a chance is taken on NEWNTON LODGE here. He beat a couple of better-fancied runners to land his maiden at Sandown in good style and looks set to go on to better things now.
