A chance is taken with the unexposed Firenze, who is selected ahead of Come Away With Me and Miskina, who are both in good heart at present. Several others are also worth noting in the betting now that they have a couple seasonal runs behind them - each-way moves for Indiana Blues and Party Princess could also pay dividends at this level. Miskina has proved herself capable over slightly further on the All Weather and gets in here off a fair mark. The form of her last two starts is working out well and, as she is open to improvement at this trip, she cannot be ruled out with confidence. Neither can Come Away With Me, who overcame a tardy start to win well at Lingfield a fortnight ago. She does have slightly more on her plate, but has the ability to go close if her temperament does not get the better of her. However, Firenze looks a typical improver from the James Fanshawe yard. The Newmarket-based trainer has done extremely well from his raids to Leicester over the years and Firenze, with the assistance of Frankie Dettori, looks another likely type for a race like this.
