    Verdict

This is a really difficult race for punters to call but Arbella, Silent Jo and Home Affairs are the three to catch the eye and the vote is given to Arbella. The selection was fourth in a group 3 race at Newmarket last time behind Maids Causeway, and as that form is the best on display here we will make her the one to beat. Silent Jo is the Godolphin representative here and he made a promising debut behind Jonquil at Goodwood. However, the suspicion is that he may do better over further in time and on this occasion we will pass him over. Home Affairs will need to improve on his debut effort at Newmarket when he was well beaten behind Librettist. However, he went off favourite that day so is clearly a nice type and he could be capable of much better here. A market move for any of the newcomers should be noted but Arbella sets a decent standard for the rest here and is taken to score.
