Verdict

Just the four players for a big pot and AL GHAZAL can take this at the expense of Syrian. Godolphin's juveniles have delivered a healthy return on investment by normal standards and while unproven at this level, Al Ghazal suggested he was on the upgrade when successful in a Sandown maiden. Syrian has form that can be tied in with a number of the leading juveniles of this generation. This son of Hawk Wing has looked a little quirky on occasions, most notably at Ayr when he hung left after making a horlicks of the start. Shaayeq was fourth in a similar contest at Newbury. He shaped as if needing further and the visor that accompanied that run remains. Realisation made no mistake at Epsom when landing the odds in a maiden. Worryingly, he was dismounted soon after the finish. Al Ghazal looks most open to improvement of the quartet and is therefore the recommendation.
