        Verdict

        Musicora made all at Kempton in July and tried to repeat the trick in a much better race at Newmarket next time. But she weakened quickly once headed and eventually finished more than a length behind today's rival Princess Rose, who has been well beaten since. LADY STELLA had little to beat at Brighton but did it with the minimum of fuss and there looks to be plenty more in the locker. She can follow up in this ahead of Mops Angel, who has had a break since failing to overcome a poor draw in the Hilary Needler at Beverley in May. Sandsman's Girl should confirm Newmarket running with State Anthem dropped in trip and looks best of the rest.
